The Quilt Alliance, the only nonprofit solely dedicated to documenting, preserving and sharing the history of quilts and quiltmakers, is presenting its seventh annual Quilters Take Manhattan. This quilter’s dream weekend includes lectures, quilt exhibitions, vendor shopping, museum & garment district tours, even a scavenger hunt, all anchored by our main event on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:00-5:00 at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in the heart of the New York City garment district.
