We need your help to ensure that QSOS interviews will be permanently archived and fully accessible to researchers, and inspiring to other quiltmakers, today and in the future. Many of our interviews were recorded on cassette tapes. We have access to the technology to digitize, but it comes at a cost of around $140 per interview. If you are able to contribute to this exciting initiative preserving the stories of today’s quiltmakers for future generations, please consider donating to this QSOS Homecoming Fund. Just $50 can help train a volunteer to index an interview and add keywords to make it searchable.
$140 covers the cost of digitizing one QSOS interview from cassette tape to high-quality digital audio. If you’d like to make a donation to the digitization and indexing of your interview, or the interview of a family member, friend, or colleague, enter that name in the “Notes” section during checkout.
