Quilt Story DIY

Document Quilt Stories in your Community!

The Quilt Alliance’s Quilt Story Road Show program brings Quilt Alliance staff and ambassadors to guilds, museums, and other organizations around the country to share information about quilt documentation and saving quilt stories. You can learn more about the Quilt Story Road Show here.

We also offer free resources for quilt guilds, individuals, community history centers, quilt collectors family gatherings, and any else interested in learning how to tell, record, and share quilt stories in your community. We’ll provide a downloadable kit with instructions and marketing materials (coming soon!), and you provide the space and volunteers to record and upload videos.

We’ll be updating this page for more resources for groups interested in documenting quilts or hosting their own Quilt Story event, but we want to know what you need! If you have questions or there’s a resource you’d like to see here, please do send us an email.
