QTM Main Event

Saturday, September 16, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Fashion Institute of Technology, John E. Reeves Great Hall. Quilters Take Manhattan’s Main Event is at FIT is in the Chelsea section of NYC (Great Hall entrance 7th Avenue and 28th Street) Saturday, Sept. 16 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Location: Fashion Institute of Technology, Pomerantz Center, Room D211.
Entrance is at the corner of 27th and 7th Avenue.  Security will direct you to an elevator to take you to the second floor and room D211.

Tickets and Admittance to QTM Events

Those attending the Main Event at FIT on Saturday: please remember to bring a copy of your ticket confirmation email with you. We will collect these at the door and confirm them after everyone is admitted – this makes registration go quickly for everyone. Those without ticket confirmations will need to wait to be checked in by hand (not as much fun as shopping!). You do not need to bring your ticket to add-on events – there will be a master check in list at each one.

A special invitation for you from quilt artist Marilyn Henrion:

PRIVATE ARTISTS STUDIO VISIT Sunday September 17, 2017…..12:30- 3:30 PM

Internationally recognized New York fiber artist, Marilyn Henrion will welcome you to her home and studio in Greenwich Village. Henrion is represented in the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of American Art, and her works are included in museum, corporate and private collections worldwide. On view will be her recent mixed media works which are deeply rooted in the urban geometry of her surroundings. In addition to showing her works, she will discuss the evolution of her creative processes. This will be a private preview of her upcoming solo exhibition scheduled for November at Noho Gallery in Chelsea.

Note: Studio discounts will be available for those who might wish to purchase artwork.

Ready to Win?

This year, we have some gorgeous items donated by our sponsors for our raffle and silent auction (see rotating images below).

There will be two raffle ticket sales tables in the Great Hall. We will announce winners throughout the day, starting at 10:45 am. Drawing time will be posted next to item.
Raffle ticket prices are:
1 ticket–$1
6 tickets–$5
12 tickets–$10
25 tickets–$20

Silent auction winners will be handed an invoice to take to the cashier tables at the entrance to the Great Hall. Once you’ve paid, return to the silent auction table with your receipt to pick up your items. Door prize tickets (2 per attendee) can be found in your goody bag–clipped to the paper items. Be sure to have them ready at 10:45 am, when the drawing for door prizes takes place. Good luck!
