Celebrate by Terri Stegmiller

This month’s puzzle spotlights a quilt titled Celebrate made by Terri Stegmiller of Mandan, North Dakota for the 2013 Quilt Alliance contest and auction, “TWENTY” (celebrating the Quilt Alliance’s 20th anniversary).

Artist’s Statement

Twenty balloons for a TWENTY celebration. A celebration calls for color, whimsy, and joy. A celebration includes family and friends. My quilt could be a symbol of any type of celebration—any occasion- big or small. It could even be a symbol of something very simple, such as a celebration of life in general, of a beautiful world we live in, or maybe even just waking up every day. Let’s all celebrate!
