On this day in 1935, the first canned beer debuted for sale in the U.S.


Caroline Beers Rinehart of Montana, New Jersey hand pieced and hand quilted this “Thousands of Triangles” quilt in 1904. Rinehart’s relative inherited the 72” x 73” quilt and documented it in 1988 as part of the Heritage Quilt Project of New Jersey.
